The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a cutting-edge SoC, is fabricated using TSMC’s sophisticated 4nm process. This powerful chipset features an octa-core CPU configuration: one Cortex-X4 core at a high clock speed of 3.3 GHz for peak performance tasks, alongside five Cortex-A720 cores reaching up to 3.2 GHz for balanced power and efficiency, and two Cortex-A520 cores at 2.3 GHz for energy-efficient processing.
In performance benchmarks, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 impressively scores 2.13 million on AnTuTu 10, marking a significant 30% improvement over its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Moreover, it achieves robust Geekbench 6 scores, with approximately 2300 in single-core and 7500 in multi-core tests, underscoring its exceptional processing power and multitasking capabilities. In the newly released Samsung Galaxy S24 series, the Galaxy S24 Ultra features this chipset whereas the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ are powered by Samsung Exynos 2400.
