The Qualcomm Snapdragon 895 was a highly anticipated flagship SoC that was ultimately canceled, with Qualcomm opting to launch the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 instead. Initially designed to be manufactured on a cutting-edge 4-nanometer process technology, the Snapdragon 895 aimed to deliver substantial improvements in performance, power efficiency, and AI capabilities for next-generation premium smartphones.

The planned architecture for the Snapdragon 895 included an octa-core CPU configuration, featuring a prime Cortex-X2 core for peak performance, three Cortex-A710 cores for balanced power and efficiency, and four Cortex-A510 cores optimized for low power consumption. This configuration was expected to offer top-tier performance and multitasking capabilities.

For graphics, the Snapdragon 895 was expected to integrate the Adreno 730 GPU, promising outstanding performance for high-definition gaming and multimedia applications. The GPU was anticipated to support advanced graphics features, high frame rates, and sophisticated rendering techniques.
